What's in a Name?

We are trying to find names for our cows and newborn calves. I have it narrowed down to a couple. Perhaps you could offer your suggestion or votes to help me pick!!!

Audra or Mindy with Joshua or Olivia

Olivia or Joshua

Mindy or Audra :)

And this is just a picture of my Dad's ranch hand on his new tractor.

Now, for the record, I think every woman named or seen in this post is a stunningly beautiful, slender, deadly attractive, smart, sophisticated woman. There is no need to draw your own conclusions from any references you may incorrectly imagine. Any such references are your own and are not necessarily the references or conclusions of this author.

What is your vote for the animals? (between the names given of course!)

This makes me laugh. Our neighborhood is across the street from a good-old-fashioned country road with lots of cows. We love to go on walks down the "cow road" and ALWAYS find the cows that look like us. The blonde mama cows are ME. So, since Mindy & Olivia have light hair, I have to say that the cows you have pictured are definitely Audra & Joshie. :)

Awwwwwwwww, so sweet! And it is so funny that you posted this because since we have been married, Mike has called me his little heifer. I know, it is totally inappropriate - a heifer is a cow that has not had a calf yet. I've had four "little calfs". But still, it is just so endearing to have Mike come home from work and say, "How's my little heifer?" So I would be so honored to have a fat mama cow named after me!

Thank you, John!

I'm not so concerned about the cattle (I'm saying this to save my tale). What gets me is the "ranch hand" represented in the last picture has simply distorted the truth about real ranching. I am the one with the ranching skills and always ready for a ranchin' duty. Thanks for calling and letting me help out. Next time you need to bail something, don't come running to me.

I better have something named after me! Ain't no shame having a cow named after me. I know dang well how those ladies are treated at the ranch. They're like royalty.

So, you know my vote.
